STUDY: Southern Gateway Nottingham

Posted on Jun 27, 2014 in News

We have been working with Nottingham City Council to develop ideas for improving the connections into and around the southern gateway into the city. The study focuses on the north-south route from railway station to Trent Bridge, and explores the potential to reintegrate Arkwright Street into the street network.

Together with the reconnection of this important route into the city, the proposals also tie into the changing local transport infrastructure following the recent Hub development at the railway station, the expansion of the tram network with NET Phase 2, and other future commercial and residential developments that line the route.
