Redesign of entrance and administration facilities

The impressive front of the High School is rarely employed as an entrance, whilst the rear is in constant us, both by boys accessing the playground and by parents attending school functions and events. The High School wanted to make a new entrance, robust enough to take the rough treatment of daily use, but also attractive enough to make visitors feel welcome.

We relocated the reception and administration offices here, having previously been inappropriately located on the first floor of the main building. The interior of the entrance hall was completely remodelled with new oak-panelled walls and misericord seating, whilst the exterior was laid with new stone flags and bollard lights to mark the entrance at night.
