We were shortlisted for this international design competition, seeking master-planning solutions for the regeneration of the town centre of Bedlington, a former mining town in Northumberland. Drawing on the precedent of surrounding Northumberland market towns, the scheme proposed a mix of housing, commercial and work space arranged in a traditional dense, urban pattern.
