Residential Regeneration for Newcastle City Council

Won in an international design competition, we were commissioned to draw up plans for a major regeneration and extension of Ralph Erskine’s Byker Housing scheme. We worked alongside the City Council and Your Homes Newcastle to prepare plans to develop two adjacent sites on the estate.

Our designs proposed a high-density mix of market & affordable family housing intended to achieve very high standards of environmental performance.
