Letts Wheeler Architects were formed in 1996 and we are based in Nottingham. The practice was formed by Matthew Letts and Andrew Wheeler, who had previously worked for award-winning practices in London and Berlin. They came together initially in order to work on a number of projects for The Earth Centre, an environmental visitor centre and flagship Millennium Lottery project.

We have established ourselves as a regional practice that is recognised nationally for the quality of our work, through our competition winning entries, design awards and the track record of our built work. We work predominantly in the fields of housing, education and public realm, at all stages from feasibility studies, through to planning applications, detail design and construction.
